The “Erato Methodological Guide” presents approaches and methodological tools which were explored during the three-year long Erato research project. The aim of Erato was to elaborate mechanisms of analysis and evaluation of the experiences of children and their families in preschool structures.
The methodological guide aims to strengthen pedagogues’ and educators’ reflexivity and probing skills in what concerns ensuring a qualitative reception which favors the development of the abilities of all children, promotes respect for diversity and at the same time fights premature marginalization. It includes data analyses stemming from the interventions of five research groups from Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Croatia. This whole effort was financially supported by a charitable organization, Bernard van Leer Foundation and coordinated by EADAP’s Scientific Committee.
