Having finished her undergraduate studies at the Universities of Split and Sarajevo, in 1983 she completed her Master 2 at the University of Zagreb on teaching in groups, and in 2005 she obtained a PhD from the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) on the influence of interactions upon preschool children’s social behavior and games via marionette theater. From 1974 to 1979 she was a secondary education teacher and from 1979 to the present day she has taught at the pedagogics departments of the Universities of Zadar and Split, in Croatia. Between 1983 and 1997 she acted as a school counselor for the nursery schools of Split and Dalmatia. She has published more than 100 scientific papers and edited the proceedings of 25 scientific conferences and symposiums. She has also critically analyzed scientific works, as well as books for young children. As a member of IEDPE, since 1989 she has participated in the Tempus-Quality Development of Higher Education programme, while since 2000 she has also been involved in a University of Split programme entitled Mediterranean Cultural Heritage in Children’s Artwork. Since 2004 she has cooperated with the UNIMA International Committee and since 2007 with EADAP, on Erato project.
